2st STEP – APPLICATION
Application Process
The entire application process is conducted via the IRK online registration system.
- Create an account in IRK and complete all personal information.
- Enroll in the second-cycle Chemistry studies (conducted in English).
- Provide details regarding your education. It is mandatory to upload scans of your translated diploma and transcripts into your account.
- Upload all required documents, including a passport photo.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of 100 PLN – instructions are available here.
⚠️ The University of Warsaw is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete data, false information, or missing documents uploaded in your IRK account.
If you have not yet received your diploma, you may register and provide it later. However, it must be uploaded by qualification stage.
Before You Apply
- Diploma – legalized (apostilled), translated, and recognized in Poland.
- English certificate (at least B2 level) – see accepted certificates here.
- Visa – required if applicable to your nationality. Note: visa processing times may be long.

Admission Criteria
Admission is based on a ranking list, determined by results of the entrance examination.
The exam is held online on the KAMPUS–REKRUTACJA platform. A link will be sent to registered candidates before the test.
